The EnergyStar® program is a joint venture between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) designed to encourage homeowners to purchase energy-efficient products.  Using less energy in our homes reduces the amount of CO2 emissions released into the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas.

The performance of the Preservation Siding system can help meet the insulating and air infiltration goals of the Home Sealing Package with EnergyStar®.  Preservation Siding installs over ClimaShield™ contoured underlayment, a state-of-the-art, insulating foam that significantly reduces drafts and air infiltration without trapping harmful water vapor.  This unique insulation system provides up to four times the insulation value to your exterior walls when compared to other common siding and underlayment alternatives.
